sojourner truth

This story shows the actual realness (authenticity) of a slave. It also describes the little of education that Sojourner has. the titles alone "ain't i a woman" and "aren't i woman" illustrates how her actual words weren't important, if it was, no one would change it. to me i believe that a white person changed the words, so that "they" can understand. i believe that sojourners character seems more intelligent in the book rather than the bio. i believe that's true because, the author wanted to hide just how uneducated the slave was at that time. this bio relates to the character's ethos because it explains how that even though she was brave she still had to be shy, just because she was black. however it doesn't appeal to all audiences, maybe that's why there's two versons.
